FORMER CHEBOYGAN LADY PASSES AWAY

Word of the death of Mrs. Alex Grieve, at her home at Rudyard, Mich. reached here Friday. Mrs. Grieve had been a sufferer from stomach trouble for a number of years, but was only taken seriously ill on Sunday and passed away the following Friday.

She is survived by 5 daughters and one son, who were all home to attend the funeral which was held on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Grieve were among the older settlers of the city. Mr. Grieve, conducting a meat market here, also held several county offices, leaving here about 13 years ago.
