Mrs. James McSweeney, 60 died at her home, 1802 Tweed Street, Saturday, June 20, 1931 after an illness of six years with heart disease. Mrs. McSweeney has been ill in bed for six months. Surviving are her husband, four sons, Joseph of the Sault, John of Detroit, Richard and James of the Sault, and one daughter, Mrs. Dan Donnelly of Pickford, and 14 grandchildren. Mrs. McSweeney was born in Toronto, August 20, 1870, and came to the Sault to live fifty hears ago. The family settled six miles south of US-2. She was married to James McSweeney forty-three years ago at Pickford. Mrs. McSweeney was a member of the St. Mary's Church. The funeral cars will leave the house Tuesday morning at eight o'clock. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic Church at Donaldson at 9. Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery.
