2. Her obituary was published on 19 May 1954 in Canal Fulton, Stark, Ohio, United States. Canal Fulton - Mrs. Genevieve Hoy Gill, 81, of Canal Fulton, died Tuesday night at her home after a long illness.

She was a life-long resident of this area and a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church and the Alter and Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph H Gill, two sons, Walter and Harry Gill of Canal Fulton; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent A Feifert and Mrs. Grace Geis of Massillon; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Fr. John Mauer officiating. burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Swigart funeral home here tonight 7 to and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. thursday.
