The family came on the ship Heber, A1, 441 tons; master Captain Rue; superintendent appointed by the Petworth Emigration Committee: James Marr Brydone; sailed from Portsmouth (Spithead) 28 April 1836; arrived at Quebec 5 June 1836/Quebec, Canada.

According to Poor Law records at the Public Record Office at Kew, Wisborough Green Vestry borrowed £200 in 1836 to send a party of people to Canada. Among these they listed the following:
