Margaret Montgomerie was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 1st Lord Montgomerie and Margaret Boyd.1,2 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Montgomerie and John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox was signed on 15 May 1438.3 She died, young.4 From 15 May 1438, her married name became Stuart.
