Suzanne "Suzie" Bachman, age 58, of Bad Axe, formerly of Flint, passed away on Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. She was born on June 8th, 1955 in Flint, daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Lacey) Ackley. She married Christopher Bachman on May 22nd, 1976 in Flint. Suzie enjoyed doing crafts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially liked being with her grandchildren.
Survived by: Husband-Christopher Bachman of Bad Axe. 1 son-Brett (Becky) Bachman of Bad Axe. 2 daughters-Lacey Bachman of Stevens Point, Wisconsin and Michelle Bachman of Bad Axe. Mother and Father-in-law Phyllis Bachman and the late George Bachman of Fenton. 2 brothers-Edward Ackley of Flint and Martin Ackley of DeWitt. 1sister-Joni (Robert) Bahra of Williamsburg. 2 grandchildren-Brady and Bailey Bachman of Bad Axe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 at 11a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church-St. Hubert Parish in Bad Axe. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 from 1-8p.m. or Wednesday at the church from 10a.m. until the service time at 11a.m. A scripture service will be offered on Tuesday at 7p.m. at the funeral home.
