Alice Izzard daughter of Leslie Izzard if Pickford became the bride of Ervin Gray son of Mr and Mrs. Edward Gray also of Pickford at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon June 14, 1939 at the home of Rev. Paul Berthold pastor of the Church of Christ.

The bride wore a floor length gown of pink chiffon over satin trimmed in lace. Her shoulder corsage was of sweet peas roses and maided hair of fern.

Erma Gray sister of the bride groom was maid of Honor floor length gown was of powder blue chiffon over satin. Her flowers were similar to those of the bride. Wesley Izzard cousin of the bride was best man for the Ervin Gray.

A three course wedding dinner was served to members of the family at the bride home. Centering the tables was a 5 tier cake topped with miniature bridal couple. The room was decorated with pink and blue streamers. In the evening a dance was given.
