Mrs. Hannah Payment, wife of Frank E. Payment of 209 Johnston Street, died Wednesday April 27, 1955 at 8:40 p.m. at the War Memorial Hospital. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Payment was born in Killarney, Ontario on February 23, 1887. She and Mr. Payment were married in the Sault 42 years ago. Surviving her husband, and two sons, Edward of Lansing, and Thomas of the Sault; three daughters, Mrs. Elmore (Beatrice) Perkins, Mrs. Charles (Anne) Cartwright, and Mrs. Willis (Pearl) Whitman, all of the Sault. Twenty-five grandchildren, and two brothers, Edward and John Tyson, both of Killarney, also survive. Mrs. Payment was a member of St. Mary's Church. The body will rest at the Bailey-Newhouse Funeral Home beginning at 7 o'clock this evening. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in the Family lot in Riverside Cemetery.
