Miss Elizabeth McMahon

Miss Elizabeth McMahon, aged 57 passed away at the Municipal hosiptal at 9 o'clock Monday night, July 23.
Miss McMahon who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen McMahon, was born in Waukesha, received her education here and for several years after finishing school was employeed in the store of August Jacobson. Later she went to Indiana and after some time spent in stores there, came to Gimbel Brothers, Milwaukee, where she was at the head of the children's department until two years ago when the illness which caused her death, incapacitated her for further service.
Since then she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Thomas Casey, of this city, until her illness became so serious four months ago that it was necessary for her to have hospital care. She was then taken to the Municipal hospital.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. E. P. Abbott, Flint, Mich., and Mrs Thomas Casey, Waukesha and two brothers, J. P. McMahon, Silvis, Ill., and T. E. McMahon, Waukesha.
The funeral will be held from 512 West Park avenue, the residence of her brother, Thomas McMahon, on Thursday and services in St. Joseph's church will be at 8 o'clock.
