Oliver Huyck, 1001 E. 7th Ave, Sault Ste. Marie died Friday at Provincial House. He was born July 15, 1899 in Pickford. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; a son LeLand of Melvindale; a daughter Joanne Markstrom of the Sault; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are four brothers, George and Ford of St. Ignace and Lester and Denzel of Pickford, and a sister Grace Fountain of Pickford.

Calling hours today are from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 p.m. at Hovie-Lucius Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
