He was born in Denny, Scotland, Jan 13, 1866, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Lacey. In February, 1888 he came to this country. On Oct 27, 1893, he was married to Miss Rose A. Hoy at Canal Fulton, O. He leaves his wife and five children, Patrick H. of Cheasing, J. Valentine, Edward J., Laurence W., and Mary Catherine at home. He leaves two brothers, John, of Torey, Ill., Patrick, of Flint, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth McDermott of Doylestown, O. and Mrs. Catherine Kildea, of Arkon, O. He was a member of Flint Council, No. 695, Knights of Columbus, and an honorary member of A. O. H.
